Ingredients
- Pastry for double-crust 9-in pie
- 3 c. sliced cooked sweet potatoes
- 1 c. sugar
- Butter or margarine
- 1tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 11/4 c. water

Directions
Roll 2/3 of crust and place in bottom of an ungreased 10 inch square
baking dish or 9 inch skillet . Combine sweet potatoes and sugar ; put
on top of bottom pie crust. Roll out remaining pastry and cut into
strips ; layer strips across pan in a lattice pattern ; dot with
butter . Sprinkle with nutmeg and cinnamon. Pour water over top of
dish and bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes.
