Ingredients
- 3/4 cup leeks, sliced and washed well
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 cans chicken broth
- 4 medium potato, cubed
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon celery seeds

Directions
1. Bring broth to a boil and reduce to medium
2. Add leeks, potatoes, and onion.
3. Simmer, covered, 25-30 minutes.
4. Add seasonings and cream
5. Simmer 5 minutes more
6. Slightly mash with a potatoe masher to desired consistency.
