Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F

Cream butter, shortening, extract, and icing sugar. Add flour and salt and mix to form smooth dough. Roll into 1" balls and place on parchment lined baking sheet.

Bake 8-10 minutes

Mix together:
3/4 c icing sugar
1/4 tsp extract
1 tbsp hot water

Glaze cooled snowballs and roll in coconut

Notes:

I found it took 11 minutes to cook in my oven
It doesn't seem to form a smooth lump of dough so much as a dough that compresses together into balls

It took a few tbsp of water to make the glaze more liquidy to spoon over balls
