Ingredients
- 24 oz. artichoke hearts
- 3 ½ cups Marinara Sauce
- ½ cup all purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 1 cup Italian bread crumbs
- 2 tsp. fresh minced oregano
- ½ tsp. crushed red pepper
- ½ tsp. coarse black pepper

Directions
Drain the artichokes hearts thoroughly. Make 3 breading containers – one with flour, one with egg wash (egg and water mixture) and one with seasoned bread crumbs (combine bread crumbs with oregano and pepper.) Dredge artichokes in flour, then egg wash and then bread crumbs. Fry gently in oil until golden brown. Drain well. Serve with Marinara Sauce.
