Ingredients
- 1 pt. Chopped fresh ocean clams or canned clams
- 1 pt. Flour
- 2 Well-beaten eggs
- 3/4 cup Beer (or you can use milk as a substitute.)
- 2 Tbsp. Butter
- Salt
- 2 tsp. Baking Powder
- Hot oil for frying

Directions
Put all ingredients in bowl, except for clams. Beat until fairly smooth. Add 1 pint chopped fresh clams or 1 pint of canned clams. Drop by tablespoonfuls into hot oil, about 360 degrees. Cook until browned, turning once. Drain on paper towel. Great with clam chowder!
