Ingredients
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 2 1/4 teaspoons granulated onion
- 3 medium mushrooms, chopped
- 1/2 tablespoon dried thyme
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 1 1/4 pounds ground beef
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 1/4 pounds ground pork
- 3/4 cup fresh bread crumbs
- 3 small eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 2 1/4 teaspoons granulated garlic

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Saute onion and mushrooms in oil until onion is translucent, then puree in food processor. Place in large bowl with all remaining ingredients except bread crumbs and mix well; add bread crumbs and mix well.
Shape meat into two loaves and place on sheet pan lined with parchment paper, or divide between 8 1/2-by-4 1/2-inch loaf pans. Place in preheated oven and bake until done, about 1 hour. Makes 2 meatloaves, 10 to 12 servings.
