Traditional Indian pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 cup semolina
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1cup butter or ghee
  • 5-6 almonds(chopped)
  • 5-6 cashewnuts (chopped)

Directions

Soak semolina in milk for 10 mins.heat butter or ghee in a pan and add sugar and cook till it turns brown and caramlizes a little .it should be done on low flame. after this add semolina along with the milk into the pan and stir continously so that there are no lumps .cook till the pudding starts leaving the sides of pan and is little thick.serve hot with almonds and cashewnuts decorated on top.
